Protecting Schools and Pupils

Secure-a-Field has recently completed the installation of over 800m of mesh security fencing to the perimeter of Woodstock Primary School in Leicester.  At only 1.4m high, the original railings weren't providing a secure, safe boundary for the school with parts of the site being used as a short-cut route by members of the public.  We were contacted to look at replacing these railings with a more secure system.  The school selected our 2.4m high 358 mesh system with clamp bar as it offers superb security and anti-climb properties whilst still providing good through visibility.

As part of our service, we completed the planning application for the client and liaised with the local authority as required.  Once permission was granted our installation team worked tirelessly to install the new fencing.  To maintain site security our team installed new fencing as sections were removed ensuring that the boundary was secure at the end of each working day.  The works also included 7 sets of gates and some internal ROSPA compliant bow-top railings.  In total over 400no. posts were installed - each one being dug by hand!
