Timber Prices Set to Rise in 2014

According to industry experts timber prices are set to rise significantly during 2014. The recent growth in house building has seen lead times extended with some sawmills even declining new accounts. This combined with a downturn in Scandanavian production is likely to result in a price rise once the spring fencing rush starts.

Taking this into account we recommend that if you are planning a large project for next year you consider either stocking up now or placing a forward order to avoid dissappointment and inconvenicence.  We currently have large stocks available on post and rail fencing, featheredge fencing and creosoted posts and rails.
