Perimeter Fencing for a Leicestershire Primary School

Secure-a-field were contacted by Stonebow County Primary School to advise on fencing and gate solutions to improve site security and safeguarding.

Our proposal was approved by the school governors and we submitted a planning application on the behalf of the school (a service that we include when required). With permission granted work commenced during the half term holiday.

The existing timber post and rail fencing was removed and replaced with our Defender V mesh security fencing powder coated green. Matching vehicle and pedestrian access gates were manufactured to suit existing access points along with an additional double gate for a new pedestrian access point.

The second phase of the works was to add the access control to the main pedestrian access point and car park gates. This included groundworks to install ducting for cables, running power and data cables from the school office to gate locations and setting up and integrating the Paxton intercom/card readers. Secure-a-Field completed all aspects of the work including electrical connection and commissioning, set up of access control an staff training.

The school is delighted with the completed project and access to the site is now controlled by school staff ensuring pupil safety and Ofsted compliance.
