Perimeter Security & Ball-Stop Netting for Nettleham Football Club

Secure-a-Field was proud to support Nettleham Football Club with a significant upgrade to their grounds, enhancing both security and safety for players, spectators, and visitors alike.

The project involved the installation of approximately 386 metres of 2.0m high Defender V mesh security fencing, a robust and visually unobtrusive system that provides effective boundary protection without compromising on aesthetics. To facilitate controlled access, the fencing included:

• 1 x 1200mm wide single leaf gate
• 1 x 4000mm wide double leaf gate
  Both gates were manufactured to match the Defender V mesh system, ensuring continuity and professional presentation throughout.

In addition to perimeter security, 10 metres of 4.0m high demountable ball-stop netting was installed. This crucial feature helps to prevent balls from leaving the pitch area — improving safety for nearby pedestrians and property, and keeping play uninterrupted.

In total, the project consisted of 129 fencing bays, carefully installed to meet the specific needs of the site while maintaining clear sightlines and access where required.

This upgrade has greatly improved the club’s facilities, offering peace of mind through increased security and enhanced safety during matches and training sessions. It also supports the club’s long-term ambitions by creating a more professional and well-maintained environment for all users.
