Secure-a-Field was pleased to assist Glenmere Primary School in Leicester with a vital security upgrade to their perimeter fencing, helping to create a safer environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The project involved the installation of 86 metres of 2000mm high Defender V mesh fencing, a reliable and secure option for educational settings. Known for its strength, visibility, and anti-climb features, Defender V mesh fencing is a popular choice for schools looking to enhance boundary security without creating an oppressive appearance.

The installation included 29 fencing bays, carefully positioned to define and secure the school’s boundary. As part of the project, the existing pedestrian gate was dismantled and responsibly disposed of, making way for the installation of a new 2000mm high x 1200mm wide single leaf pedestrian gate. This new gate not only improves access control but also complements the overall fencing system in both functionality and appearance.

The new fencing system provides increased protection for the school grounds, supports safeguarding responsibilities, and gives added peace of mind to staff and parents alike. Its durable finish and professional installation ensure it will serve the school reliably for many years to come.
