Comprehensive Security Fencing and Gate Installation for Keltruck, Groby

Secure-a-Field was recently appointed to deliver a robust perimeter security solution for Keltruck, a leading Scania truck dealership located at their commercial site in Groby, Leicestershire. With site security and access control being of critical importance to the client, the project brief called for a combination of high-specification steel fencing and gate systems, as well as boundary demarcation using traditional timber fencing.

A Tailored Security Solution

Following detailed planning and consultation with the client, we installed:

• 55 metres of 2400mm high dig-in palisade fencing
• 85 metres of 2400mm high bolt-down palisade fencing
• 154 metres of 2100mm high palisade fencing

All steel fencing was manufactured to a high standard and galvanised for long-term protection. Palisade fencing remains one of the most trusted security options for commercial and industrial sites, offering both visual deterrence and physical resistance to intruders.

Automated Sliding Gates

To ensure secure and flexible vehicle access, we also supplied and installed:

• A pair of 2.2 metre high automatic sliding gates, providing a clear opening of 12 metres
• A single sliding gate of the same height, offering a 6 metre opening

Both gates were fitted within protective enclosures to enhance site safety and comply with relevant safety standards. The gate systems are compatible with modern access control methods, ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles can enter the site.

Timber Post and Rail Fencing

To complement the security perimeter and provide clear boundary demarcation in less sensitive areas, 234 metres of timber post and rail fencing were also installed. This traditional fencing style blends functionality with a neat, professional finish.
