Safe, Smart and Secure – Bowtop Fencing and Access Gates for Greenstone Primary School

Secure-a-Field recently completed another school fencing project in the Midlands, this time at Greenstone Primary School in Coalville (LE67 1HQ). The school needed a reliable, long-lasting perimeter solution that would improve pupil safety, guide movement around the site and give staff complete confidence in their access control. Our team delivered the full package: supply, installation and commissioning of new self-raking bowtop fencing and a matching pedestrian access gate.

The project involved installing around 90 metres of 1800mm high bowtop fencing – a popular choice for primary school environments thanks to its smooth lines, anti-trap spacing and welcoming appearance. The system is fully RoSPA compliant and provides a strong, secure boundary without feeling harsh or industrial. The self-raking design also allowed the fence line to follow the school’s changes in ground level, giving a neat and consistent finish across the site.

To complete the installation, we supplied and fitted a matching semi-automatic pedestrian gate. The gate features a 1200mm opening, a self-closing hydraulic hinge unit and a built-in maglock handle. All components were fully galvanised and powder-coated in RAL 9005 black, ensuring the gate blends beautifully with the fencing while offering modern, dependable access control for staff and visitors.
