Branded Security Fencing Installation for Knighton Janitorial in Castle Donington

Secure-a-Field recently completed a bespoke security fencing installation for Knighton Janitorial at their Castle Donington premises in Derbyshire.

The brief was simple: improve site security, create controlled access for vehicles and pedestrians, and make sure the finished fencing looked right alongside the company’s existing branding.

Rather than using a standard fencing colour, Knighton Janitorial requested a non-standard RAL 5014 powder coated finish. This allowed the new perimeter fencing and gates to complement the company’s brand colours while still delivering the durability expected from a commercial security installation.

The Requirement

Knighton Janitorial needed a secure boundary solution for their premises in Castle Donington. The site required new perimeter fencing, a vehicle access gate and a separate pedestrian gate, all finished to a consistent specification.

• 75 metres of 2000mm high Defender V Mesh fencing
• Galvanised and powder coated finish
• Bespoke RAL 5014 colour finish
• 1 x 5 metre wide double leaf vehicle gate
• 1 x 1.2 metre wide pedestrian gate
• Matching RAL 5014 finish on both gates

The chosen system provided a strong, clean-looking perimeter while keeping visibility across the site.

The Solution

Defender V Mesh fencing was selected because it offers a good balance of strength, visibility and appearance. At 2000mm high, the fencing helps protect the boundary without making the premises feel closed off or overly industrial.

The open mesh design supports clear sightlines across the site, which is useful for supervision, CCTV visibility and general day-to-day security. It also gives the installation a neater finish than heavier fencing options.

Both gates were manufactured and finished to match the fencing. The 5 metre double leaf gate provides practical access for vehicles and deliveries, while the 1.2 metre pedestrian gate gives staff and visitors a dedicated entry point.

A Finish That Matches the Business

One of the most important details on this project was the colour.

The fencing and gates were galvanised for corrosion protection, then powder coated in RAL 5014. This was a non-standard colour choice, requested so the completed installation would sit naturally with Knighton Janitorial’s branding.
