Project Overview

Secure-a-Field was appointed to upgrade the perimeter security at The Lanes Primary School, a busy elementary school in Nottingham. The objective was simple but critical: replace aging, ineffective fencing with a robust, tamper-resistant solution that improves safety without making the site feel like a fortress.

Scope of Works

1. Vegetation Cut Back
Vegetation along the boundary line was cleared to create a clean, workable corridor. This step ensured proper fence alignment and removed natural hiding spots that can compromise visibility and security.

2. Removal & Disposal of Existing Fencing
The existing fencing had reached the end of its lifespan. Our team dismantled and removed all redundant materials from site.

3. Installation of Defender 8T Mesh Fencing
We installed 280 metres of 2.4m high Defender 8T mesh fencing in black, a system widely used in schools for its balance of strength and visibility.
