Project Overview

Secure-A-Field delivered a full perimeter security and access control package at Bilton School, covering gates, fencing, groundworks and system integration.

This was a well-rounded project designed to improve site security, controlled access, and day-to-day usability for staff and visitors.

What We Installed

Pedestrian Access Gate
2000mm high semi-automatic single leaf gate
Defender 868 mesh infill for strength and visibility
Locinox hydraulic self-closing hinges
Integrated maglock (600kg force) with push/pull access
Proximity access control on both sides, linked to existing Paxton system

Vehicle Access Gates
4m wide double leaf gates
Heavy-duty SHS steel construction
Clad with Defender 8T mesh for durability
Padlockable slide latch for secure locking

Security Fencing
25m of 2.0m high Defender 8T mesh fencing to rear car park
Additional 8m fencing and matching access-controlled gate to rear of design block
Installed with full clamp bar system for enhanced security

Groundworks & Integration

Full ducting and groundwork installation completed in-houseAccess control fully integrated with the school’s existing systemDesigned to allow fire alarm interface for safe maglock release
